These filters are designed for use with the No. 617E filter attachment. Suction through the filter is increased many times over conventional filter papers due to the precision-woven, lint-free, polyester monofilament fabric. Debris is collected uniformly across the P.E.M. surface and not in the center as with paper filters. Valuable microscopic evidence collects on the surface and tests have proven that five times more debris is collected than with standard filter paper.
