This single use evidence vacuum adapter eliminates problems of cross contamination. The disposable, single use adapter fits most common vacuums. Once connected, microparticle evidence is sucked into the adapter and collected into the filter paper within the enclosed petri dish. After collection, remove the petri dish, cover with the enclosed optically correct plastic lid which can then be used directly in the optical microscope. Enclose the evidence container in the evidence collection bag. Be sure to write any important documentation on the outside of the evidence bag before submitting to crime lab for examination. Dispose of the remaining adapter.
