The Trace Evidence Vacuum is a very powerful unit designed for high efficiency collection of particulate evidence. The portable vacuum along with the use of the one time disposable filters make it the only system on the market specifically designed with law enforcement in mind. Evidence collection is easy, convenient and safe. The filter unit is packaged in a supplied evidence bag and then heat sealed into a second poly bag. Using this multi-packaging method, you are assured that it will only be exposed to evidence collected at the crime scene at the time of use. After use, the filter is removed from the vacuum hose, capped on th ends, then placed within the supplied evidence bag. The filter housing as well as the actual woven-fiber filter, is intended for one time use only to ensure evidence integrity. It should never be cleaned or reused.
