With "Live Scan" fingerprinting units, the resulting fingerprints may not be perfect. This is because the skin of the finger is not making good contact with the scanner glass. The solution to this problem is the Identicator® PreScan™ pad. This pad puts the perfect amount of solution on the skin to make the best contact between the finger and the scanner. The smaller PS-5 pad will coat up to 500 fingers, while the larger PS-30 will do up to 16,000 individual impressions.
