The Postmortem Horizontal Ink Roller is intended primarily for recording fingerprints of the deceased, although it may be used for many other field fingerprinting situations. The rolling action minimizes potential ink smearing and over-inking of the finger. Ink is always ready. The PM283PIPH is supplied with a protective tubular housing to prevent environmental contamination.
