Mask filters at 99% BFE (bacterial filtration efficiency) at 0.1 micron, and comes with two unique encased elastic (non latex) knitted retention bands for a secure and comfortable fit.A Positive Facial Lock® is created by the Twist-Seal feature, a unique aluminum chin piece that lets the wearer “custom fit” the edges of the facemask to his or her own face. Once adjusted snugly against the face, the wearer simply “twists down” the chin piece to create a positive facial seal around the borders of the mask. This helps assure everything you breathe in or out passes through the 0.1 micron filter, maximizing protection for you and your patients.The Magic Arch® feature uses two polypropylene strips which keep the mask away from the wearer's nose and mouth without restricting downward vision, a common complaint with duckbill type masks. The larger breathing chamber created by this construction maximizes comfort by dissipating warm exhaled air over a larger area. This larger chamber also helps reduce the incidence of allergic skin reactions caused by friction with sensitive areas such as the lips and skin around the mouth.
