Filtair Range

The Filtair range of ductless fume hoods are ideal for handling small to medium quantities of chemicals. The ventilation system is placed after the filter and equipped with an anti-vibration device (a phase displacement ring), the turbine type fan is protected from any corrosion. Fiberglass filled plastic spiral and turbine. Thermically protected. Very low sound level. All come standard with an Air Velometer, a permanent monitoring system for controlling the face velocity and internal air velocity of the working enclosure. All have a sampling port for the testing of the saturation level of the filter with color coded reactive tubes. All have a timer designed to remind the user, every 60 hours of the need to conduct a filter saturation check with color coded reactive tubes. All have a tempered glass work surface with spill tray, and an internal fluorescent lighting system. An optional Securifilter is available, which is a filter saturation electronic detector for solvents. Choices of filter types depend on specific chemicals and applications. MF models are for gases or vapors, with dust or fumes, but without liquid aerosols. VF models are the same but WITH aerosols. Securifilter option is $955.00 per instrument, all models.
