Simply add the three tablets to the bottle to obtain a single-use mixture that can still be effective days after preparation. The luminescence intensity is higher, is visible longer, and it does not necessitate total darkness to be visible. Even small quantities of blood can be detected. Even blood stains washed with bleach can be detected. Tests with a 9.6% bleach solution showed that the luminescence from blood lasted longer than that from bleach, allowing investigators to distinguish between the two. Instantly ready : just add a pair of tablets to one of the spray bottles of distilled water. More economical and practical for quick or limited investigations before the intervention of crime scene specialists. The MINI KIT provides two 125ml bottles for two independent investigations.

BLUESTAR is also available in a tablet format, supplied as 4 packs of two tablets. Each pack of two tablets is mixed with 125 ml of water to prepare the working solution. Fast dissolving, you can make up as much as you need. The working solution is stable for at least 24 hours, but not as stable as the BLUESTAR Kit. Provides the same enhanced luminescence that is visible longer.

BLUESTAR TRAIINING TABLETS work the same as regular BlueStar tablets in terms of the signal they generate, but the solution WILL destroy DNA. Ideal for training or demonstration purposes, but much more economical.

BLUESTAR MAGNUM is a more concentrated formula suitable for use to detect micro-droplets not visible to the eye. Can be used on clothing even after several washes to reveal blood traces. Simply add the 3 tablets to the 125ml buffer solution (4 oz). Each supplied with a pump spray applicator to provide a fine mist.

Hexagon OBTI (CS-0078-24, CS-0078-6) is the perfect complement to BLUESTAR. This rapid monoclonal antibody screening test verifies that a stain is blood of human origin. HEXAGON OBTI is a two part test: a collection tube for the blood sample, and a test bar. A sample of the presumed human blood trace is transferred into the tube with transport medium. This mixture is added drop by drop to the test. A positive sample is typically detected within 2-3 minutes. Residual sample in the collection tube can be used for DNA typing.
