The Facility System is configured for the agency/facility that would typically be heat-sealing 3 to 300 bodies per month. This configuration makes the assumption that body transfers will be done from gurney to gurney. The rack is designed to fit at the head of the gurney, so that you can exactly measure the length of BioSeal material need to fit each individual case. BioSeal meets the needs of coroners, medical examiners and morgue personnel including:
*Infection control, such as tuberculosis,
*SARS Contamination control from biological, chemical and other hazards
*Odor and fluid containment
*Decontamination containment
*Organization of body fragments
*Evidence integrity
*Disaster response containment
*Can X-ray through the material without opening
*Can be opened, then re-sealed a number of times
*Medical examiners in San Diego, Los Angeles, New York and elsewhere have taken advantage of the benefits BioSeal has to offer. *The Portable system can travel with the Coroner or Medical Examiner to the death scene.
*Each Facility System includes one 36” x 100' roll of BioSeal material; the vertical dispensing rack; attached razor knife; thermosealer; 25' extension cord; biohazard labels and tape, and a product/training CD.
