BioSeal is the most cost effective system for the absolute containment of the solids, vapors, gases and fluids associated with the storage and transportation of hazardous, bio-hazardous and pathological commodities, for Disaster Response, Law Enforcement, Coroners and Morticians.

BioSeal is a unique material and system made of an Aluminum-Polypropylene-Valeron laminate that provides for the absolute containment of potentially infectious and biologically hazardous material, as well as chemical hazards: solids, vapors and fluids cannot escape. It's like welding them inside a large aluminum can.

First used in 1996 by the San Diego County Medical Examiner to safely contain the remains of the 39 participants of the Heaven's Gate cult that committed suicide in anticipation of joining the comet Hale-Bopp, it has proven itself in many other disasters, including the Swissair disaster, the Egypt Air disaster, the Air Alaska disaster and who can forget September 11th, 2001 at both the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon and the Asian Tsunami of 2004.

This is the only system to have passed breakthrough testing against various chemical warfare agents at the U.S. Army's Edgewood Chemical Biological Center.

Available in many configurations to meet particular needs, the BioSeal System would safely contain the remains of people infected with Tuberculosis, AIDS, SARS, Hepatitis, biological and chemical warfare agents and other infectious diseases, during temporary storage and transportation to other facilities, with no further risk of exposure to first responder personnel and others. Helps control the spread of disease and further contamination.

The portable system is designed to travel with the forensic investigator to the crime scene. There are contingencies provided for every possible power requirement, or lack of power circumstances. Each system includes a handheld thermosealer; 12 volt rechargeable battery; power inverter, D/C to A/C; adapters for auto, home, field; 25' extension cord; battery charger; pouch for investigative supplies; biohazard labels, evidence labels, scissors, all in a strong weather resistant case with enough room to hold two 8' length pieces of BioSeal material. Each system is supplied with a 100' roll of BioSeal material. Our law enforcement customers, including the Toronto Police Service and Niagara Regional Police Service Forensic Identification Units are currently experiencing excellent results with their systems.

BioSeal is provided in a 100 or 300 foot roll, 72” wide, already folded onto itself, so each roll is only 36” wide. You cut and use only what you need, making this product very cost effective.
