BioSeal is a unique material and system made of an Aluminum-Polypropylene-Valeron laminate that provides for the absolute containment of potentially infectious and biologically hazardous material, as well as chemical hazards: solids, vapors and fluids cannot escape. It's like welding them inside a large aluminum can.

First used in 1996 by the San Diego County Medical Examiner to safely contain the remains of the 39 participants of the Heaven's Gate cult that committed suicide in anticipation of joining the comet Hale-Bopp, it has proven itself in many other disasters, including the Swissair disaster, the Egypt Air disaster, the Air Alaska disaster and who can forget September 11th, 2001 at both the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon and the Asian Tsunami of 2004.

This is the only system to have passed breakthrough testing against various chemical warfare agents at the U.S. Army's Edgewood Chemical Biological Center.

The BioSeal Mass Fatality Response Pak and Infection Control Kit is the only human remains containment solution that can be stored for 49 years with no deterioration in performance or readiness of materials. When a handheld heat sealer is applied to the U.S. military specification material, it welds the material together creating a seamless metal container that handles like a paper bag - flexible, safe and easy to transport and store. One roll of BioSeal material uses only 1 sq. ft. of floor space, permitting large quantities to be stored for many years without any deterioration. You only use what you need, making this very economical and practical when dealing with body fragments and mass fatalities

The BioSeal System Mass Fatality Response Pak arrives at your facility ready for deployment. It contains sufficient BioSeal material to safely contain approximately 1,300 complete human remains. It is packaged with 25 rolls of BioSeal material, each 72” (folded to 36”) x 300' long, 3 -110v thermosealers, 3 power cords (25' long each), 3 pairs of scissors, a a box of black markers, a vertical dispensing rack, 1,500 clear adhesive data pouches and 1 training/produce demo CD. All this is steel strapped to to a pallet and wrapped for long term storage with bold signage that will easily identify its contents.

You can stack the BioSeal System Mass Fatality Response Pak up to 3 units high, which means in only 16 sq. ft. of warehouse space, you can store enough BioSeal material to contain over 3,800 complete sets of human remains. Accommodates all of your mass disaster response needs regarding the safe containment of human remains after a biological, chemical or nuclear terrorist act, or a natural disaster.

BioSeal has served with distinction at the Egypt Air disaster, the Air Alaska disaster, during 9/11 at the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon and at the Asian Tsunami.
