Employing a poly-aluminium foil-poly co-extruded laminate, the material's interior foil barrier contains all fluids and vapours, while the exterior layer provides strength and durability. When a handheld heat sealer is applied to the BioSeal material that meets U.S. military specifications, it welds the material together creating a seamless metal container that handles like a paper bag - flexible, safe and easy to transport and store.

Unlike regular vinyl body bags which will deteriorate over a short period of time and needing replacement, BioSeal is the only human remains containment solution that assures a storage life of 49 years with no deterioration in performance or readiness of materials - regardless of storage conditions!
